Selector Switch Station
With Start / Stop Pushbuttons

A pre-wired, labelled and tested three-device motor control station built on Siemens SIRIUS ACT 3SU pilot devices in a Saginaw 3PBGX painted steel enclosure. A maintained three-position selector gives ON / OFF / AUTO mode selection, and two momentary black pushbuttons give START and STOP — all four contacts on one M12 8-pin connector.

Connection M12, 8-pin

All four contacts share a common 24 VDC feed and return to the PLC on one A-coded connector.

The STOP pushbutton is a control device with a normally-open contact, not a safety stop. Where a machine needs an emergency stop, pair this station with a PBS-1 or PBS-2.

A three-position maintained selector switch gives ON / OFF / AUTO mode selection, and two momentary black pushbuttons provide START and STOP commands.

All four normally-open contacts share a common 24 VDC feed and land on a single M12 8-pin A-coded male bulkhead with a 3.2 ft pigtail, so the station wires to a machine or a remote I/O drop with one cable. Legends are snap-in plates held in label holders, so the station can be re-legended in the field without changing hardware. Each unit ships with the customer drawing package it was built from: schematic, model view, cable diagram and bill of material.
