CAPTRON
Laser TCP Sensor Kit
Two crossed laser light barriers in a 40 mm measuring field, so the machine finds its own tool centre point. The tool is driven through the beams, the sensor switches, and the control records the position — no dial indicator, no operator judgement, and the same number every time. Supplied with the cordset, the sensor mount and the SINUMERIK integration, and optionally with Easy Screens and documented G-code examples so the routine is a soft key rather than a program someone has to write.

A CAPTRON OGLW2-40T-2PS6 laser tool-centre-point measuring unit supplied as a working kit: sensor, angled M8 cordset, machined sensor mount, wiring materials and the SINUMERIK integration that maps the two PNP outputs, sets up the measuring cycle and calibrates the result. Two crossed class 2 laser light barriers in a 40 mm field give 0.01 mm reproducibility at 0.2 mm resolution.
The optional software add-in delivers SINUMERIK Operate Easy Screens plus commented G-code examples, so setting the tool centre point is a soft key on the operator panel rather than a program someone has to write.
The same sensor is available factory-fitted on the Robotic Tool Change Rack (HSK63).
